Artist Statement

I was looking at my dad’s old pictures and I was thinking about how old he looks now. Aging and mortality is so natural but so scary and inevitable, I feel helpless in the natural course of things but could only convey how I felt on canvas. This is a group picture of the same man in different stages of his life, from infancy to death.
